Chanel Terrero Mart\u00ednez, also known as Chanel, is Spain\u2019s 2022 Eurovision<\/a> song entry this year.<\/p>\n

The 31-year-old singer and actress, born in Havana, Cuba, will perform her debut single \u2018SloMo\u2019 at the singing competition, with the show\u2019s Grand Final is being held live from Italy\u2019s Pala Olimpico Arena in the city of Turin.<\/span><\/p>\n

There will be 40 countries competing in this year\u2019s Song Contest. Russia was due to take part, but they were removed after the invasion of Ukraine.<\/p>\n

Eurovision fans will be anticipating fun, flamboyant and catchy performances from acts across Europe when the show airs live on May 14th. Here\u2019s everything you need to know about Spain\u2019s entry Chanel.<\/p>

Chanel Terrero Mart\u00ednez, who goes by Chanel, a Cuban-Spanish singer, dancer and actress who will be performing her debut single \u2018SloMo\u2019 to represent Spain at Eurovision 2022.<\/p>\n
The singer began her career in music theatre aged 16, and she has performed in musicals Mamma Mia!,\u00a0Flashdance,\u00a0El guardaespaldas\u00a0and\u00a0El rey le\u00f3n.<\/p>\n
As a dancer, she has worked with Shakira, and she was one of the finalists for the role of Anita for Steven Spielberg\u2019s musical adaptation of West Side Story.<\/p>\n

What is Spain\u2019s Eurovision 2022 song called?<\/b><\/h2>\n\n<div class=\""mb-xl\" oembed--twitter=\"\">Chantel will perform her catchy debut single \u2018SloMo\u2019, which entered the\u00a0Spanish Singles Chart at number thirteen earlier this year.<\/div>\n<div\/>\n<div>The official video for the dance hit features her impressive choreography and dance moves throughout, and the single is part Spanish, part English.<\/div>\n<div\/>\n<div>Chanel\u2019s performance for the 2022 Eurovision Song Contest has been put together by \u00a0American choreographer Kyle Hanagami, who has worked previously worked stars including Britney Spears, Jennifer Lopez and Justin Bieber.<\/div>\n<div>\n<h2>Where did Spain come in the 2021 Eurovision contest?<\/h2>\n<\/div>\n<div>Blas Cant\u00f3 represented Spain in 2021 with his song \u2018Voy a quedarme\u2019.
