An exclusive new clip from Gentleman Jack season 2\u00a0shows marital relations growing increasingly frosty between\u00a0Anne Lister and Ann Walker.<\/p>\n

The brand new BBC One clip, released exclusively by RadioTimes.com<\/a> ahead of tonight\u2019s episode, shows the couple (played by Suranne Jones and Sophie Rundle in the Gentleman Jack cast<\/a>) arguing over a letter than Anne has penned.<\/p>\n

Based on the\u00a0the real Anne Lister\u2019s diaries<\/a>, the BBC drama\u2019s second season hasn\u2019t been plain-sailing for the newly married pair, as the dramatic return of Anne\u2019s scorned lover Mariana Lawton (Lydia Leonard) threatens\u00a0to put their romance to the test.<\/p>\n

In the letter (whose addressee isn\u2019t mentioned, but who we can assume is Marianne), Anne describes her life with Ann Walker \u2013<\/strong>\u00a0but in brackets.<\/p>
