Sally Rooney\u2019s first novel Conversations with Friends<\/a> has been adapted into a 12-part series, following the recording breaking success of its predecessor, Normal People<\/a> (based on Rooney\u2019s second book).<\/p>\n

The series centres on students and best friends Frances (newcomer Alison Oliver) and Bobbi (American Honey\u2019s Sasha Lane), who are seduced by the glamorous, adult world of writer Melissa (Sex Education\u2019s Jemima Kirke) and her handsome husband Nick (The Favourite\u2019s Joe Alwyn), as the group forms a complicated\u00a0\u2018m\u00e9nage \u00e0 quatre\u2019<\/p>\n

In addition to verbal sparring and sun-drenched scenes as the four go on holiday, the series also has a dreamy soundtrack, boasting a brand new song\u00a0by Phoebe Bridgers, titled sidelines, which she penned especially for the series.<\/p>\n
