A lot more people will soon be able to play Fall Guys, with the game\u2019s Xbox release date and Nintendo Switch release dates now both confirmed.<\/p>\n
Back in August 2020, the gameshow-inspired title launched on PlayStation and PC, with PS Plus<\/a> players being able to try it out for free as part of their memberships.<\/p>\n Fall Guys was certainly a fun distraction during the uncertainty of that year, and the developer Mediatonic has done an impressive job of keeping the game updated with new seasonal content ever since.<\/p>\n In fact, Mediatonic was doing such a good job that Epic Games (the makers of Fortnite<\/a>) swooped in and bought the company last year.<\/p>\n Now it\u2019s forging ahead with the Xbox and Nintendo release, and better yet, the game will be free-to-play on all platforms<\/a>.<\/p>\n So, when exactly is the Fall Guys Xbox release date and the Fall Guys Switch release date? Keep on reading and we\u2019ll tell you all about it.<\/p>\n The Fall Guys Xbox release date will take place on Tuesday 21st June 2022<\/strong>, the developers have confirmed.<\/p>\n From that date, Fall Guys will be available for free on Xbox One, Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S. There will be a free progression path in the game if you don\u2019t want to pay for the premium Season Pass.<\/p>\n The Fall Guys Switch release date will also occur on\u00a0Tuesday 21st June 2022<\/strong>, on the same date as the Xbox launch. A next-gen version will also launch on PS5 on that same day.<\/p>\n Whether you\u2019re playing on Nintendo Switch Lite, Nintendo Switch OLED or just the standard Nintendo Switch, we imagine that the primary-coloured fun of Fall Guys will be a perfect fit for the family-friendly console.<\/p> The developers have confirmed that Fall Guys will have full crossplay support, allowing friendship groups (and randoms) to play together across PC, PlayStation, Switch and Xbox. This has been made possible via Epic Online Services.<\/p>\n Better yet, Fall Guys will also support cross-progression, allowing you to sync your progress across multiple devices if you tend to play across more than one platform (e.g. you can play on PlayStation at home, PC at the office, and even pick up the same account on your Switch when you\u2019re on the go).<\/p>\n A Chinese entertainment company called Bilibili Inc has reportedly secured the rights to produce a mobile game based on Fall Guys, and the company even has an official webpage<\/a> dedicated to this product.<\/p>\n On that page, you can click to register your interest in an Android or iPhone version of the game, but you can\u2019t actually play anything at the moment. And there\u2019s no sign of a confirmed release date on that webpage.<\/p>\n And there\u2019s another wrinkle to be aware of, too \u2013 it has been reported that this mobile version, whenever it does come out, will only be available in China for the time being.
