It\u2019s been nine years since our screens have been graced with one of Baz Luhrmann\u2019s movies, but\u00a0now the famed filmmaker is\u00a0about to release his latest, a biopic about\u00a0Elvis Presley.<\/p>\n

The film, which stars Austin Butler in the lead role and Tom Hanks as the singer\u2019s calculating manager Colonel Tom Parker, follows Elvis\u2019 rise and fall against the backdrop of the evolving cultural landscape in America, as well as exploring the rock \u2018n\u2019 roll legend\u2019s\u00a0legacy.<\/p>\n

And judging by the biopic\u2019s trailer<\/a>,\u00a0Luhrmann will be bringing his signature style to Elvis\u2019 iconic tale, with plenty of glitz and glamour.<\/p>\n
