However, her success has made her selfish and cruel \u2013 much like a certain Ebenezer we\u2019ve met many times before \u2013 not to mention that she has, ironically, come to despise everything that Christmas represents.<\/p>\n
Intervention comes one fateful year in the form of three spirits, representing Carole\u2019s past, present and future, who intend to show her the true meaning of the celebratory season.<\/p>
The Sky Studios production is written by Anil Gupta and Richard Pinto, who previously collaborated on BBC sitcom Citizen Khan and sketch comedy The Armstrong and Miller Show.<\/p>\n
Meanwhile, directing duties are to be handled by Ian Fitzgibbon, whose past credits include Channel 4\u2019s Hullraisers<\/a>, sci-fi comedy People of Earth and Sky\u2019s Moone Boy.<\/p>\n Christmas Carole was announced as part of a sizeable 2022 slate from Sky, which also includes fellow comedy Rosie Molloy Gives Up Everything<\/a>, starring Sheridan Smith in the title role.<\/p>\n Sky also announced Romantic Getaway, starring Romesh Ranganathan and Katherine Ryan as a couple who steal \u00a3500,000 from their shared boss, as well as new seasons of hit shows I Hate Suzie<\/a> and COBRA<\/a>.<\/p>\n Christmas Carole is coming later this year to Sky.
