Heartstopper\u2019s Kit Connor will guest on Radio Times\u2019 weekly podcast for a special live interview at the BFI & Radio Times Television Festival<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Hosted by Jane Garvey with TV critic Rhianna Dhillon, the podcast is swapping the recording studio for the BFI Southbank for the one-off festival special live on stage \u2013 and you can book tickets to be there too<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Based on\u00a0Alice Oseman\u2019s graphic novel of the same name,<\/a> Netflix series Heartstopper has captured the hearts of viewers worldwide, focusing on a blossoming romance between two British schoolboys.<\/p>\n

Kit Connor plays one of the two leads, Nick Nelson, a popular rugby player grappling with his sexuality and growing attraction to classmate\u00a0Charlie Spring (Joe Locke).<\/p>\n

One of the most emotional scenes of the series occurred when Nick came out as bisexual to his mother (Olivia Colman<\/a>) just as the final credits rolled in\u00a0Heartstopper season 1<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The series has been praised\u00a0by fans for its positive depiction of LGBTQ+ relationships (read our Heartstopper review<\/a>\u00a0here).<\/p>\n

Ticket-holders will be able to watch the interview with Connor live on Sunday 22nd May from 3:15pm<\/strong>.\u00a0Tickets are on sale now<\/a><\/strong>, priced at \u00a318 per full-price ticket and \u00a314 for concessions.<\/p>\n

The podcast\u2019s past guests have included Ricky Gervais, Jodie Whittaker and Gillian Anderson.<\/p>

The BFI & Radio Times Television Festival<\/strong> will be held at both the BFI\u2019s Southbank base and also in its nearby IMAX cinema.<\/p>\n
