Hunted is finally back with a brand new civilian series, starting off with a two-day premiere this weekend.<\/p>\n
Season 6 begins with 11 fugitives being tasked with escaping from the Isle of Wight without being caught by the show\u2019s hunters, led by Lisa Theaker \u2013 Assistant Chief Constable of Cleveland Police.<\/p>\n
With \u00a3100,000 up for grabs, there\u2019s a huge amount at stake but can these contestant stay under the radar for 23 days?<\/p>\n
Here\u2019s everything we know so far about Hunted 2022.<\/p>
Hunted 2022 release date<\/h2>\n
The new series of Hunted will begin on\u00a0Sunday 22nd May\u00a0<\/strong>at\u00a09pm\u00a0<\/strong>on\u00a0Channel 4,\u00a0<\/strong>with the second episode airing on\u00a0Monday 23rd May<\/strong> at the same time.<\/p>\n
Season 6 will then continue every Sunday at 9pm from then onwards.<\/p>\n
There are 11 contestants taking part in this year\u2019s series of Hunted, including one person who is competing by themselves. The 2022 fugitives are:<\/p>\n
Grace and Abi<\/li>\n
James and Nathan<\/li>\n
Amarinder and Shoba<\/li>\n
Liam and Katie<\/li>\n
Sarah<\/li>\n
Meurig and Elinor<\/li>\n<\/ul>
This year\u2019s fugitives include two sisters, a mother of four hoping to evade detection with her grown-up son, two deaf young men, an ex-military veteran, a serving police officer and mother of two and a couple who are experienced urban explorers.<\/p>\n

The 2022 fugitives will be hunted by the show\u2019s professional team of hunters, led by Assistant Chief Constable of Cleveland Police, Lisa Theaker \u2013 who took over from Ben Owen for season 4 of the celebrity show.<\/p>\n
She\u2019ll be joined by Special Heads of Ops Marc Cananur and Deputy Ray Howard.<\/p>\n
The previous Hunted chiefs include Ben \u2018Sherlock\u2019 Owen, Peter \u2018Bleks\u2019 Bleksley and Brett Lovegrove.<\/p>\n
What will happen in Hunted season 6?<\/h2>\n
The new series of Hunted will see 11 ordinary people go on the run for the chance to win \u00a3100,000 if they can stay undetected for 23 days.<\/p>\n
For the first time in the show\u2019s history, the fugitives must begin their Hunted journey by escaping from an island \u2013 the Isle of Wight \u2013 whilst watched by the hunter helicopter.<\/p>\n
