The Outlaws<\/a> season 2 is just around the corner. The series\u2019 second outing was filmed back to back with the first, but its future beyond that is yet to be determined.<\/p>\n

Now the show\u2019s creator and star Stephen Merchant has weighed in on the matter, saying that he would \u201ccertainly like to keep it going\u201d.<\/p>\n

Speaking exclusively with RadioTimes.com<\/a> at the BFI & Radio Times Television Festival<\/strong>, Merchant said: \u201cI love the characters, I like the world. I don\u2019t know how long you could believe that they\u2019re still doing community service but I suppose it\u2019s like Auf Wiedersehen, Pet, where they were always building a different house in different parts of the world.<\/p>\n

\u201cSo hopefully there\u2019s a way to keep bringing them back, particularly as I love working with this cast and as I say, once you\u2019ve created a world and you\u2019ve got characters that you enjoy writing for you sort of want to keep on milking that cow.\u201d<\/p>
