Danny Boyle\u2019s Sex Pistols series Pistol<\/a> has now arrived on Disney Plus and, as you can expect from a music biopic, the show features a killer soundtrack.<\/p>\n

Set in the 1970s, the series features songs by artists including David Bowie, The Who and The Pretenders, while also of course featuring a hefty dose of the Sex Pistols\u2019 own tracks from throughout their initial three-year run.<\/p>\n

The series almost didn\u2019t feature the Pistols\u2019 music at all, after the band\u2019s frontman John Lydon, AKA Johnny Rotten, tried to block it from being used, calling the series \u201cthe most disrespectful sh*t I\u2019ve ever had to endure\u201d<\/a>. However, band members Paul Cook and Steve Jones won a legal battle with Lydon in August last year<\/a>, meaning the songs were allowed to feature.<\/p>\n
