Fans of Coronation Street<\/a> were surprised to hear earlier in the year that Spider Nugent (played by Martin Hancock) would be returning to the soap.<\/a><\/p>\n

The eco-warrior character had an on\/off relationship with beloved Toyah Habeeb (Georgia Taylor), and following the death of Toyah\u2019s husband Imran Habeeb<\/a> (Charlie de Melo), many are interested to see how the former couple get on together.<\/p>\n

RadioTimes.com<\/a> caught up with Georgia at the British Soap Awards 2022<\/a>, and found out a teasing snippet ahead of Spider\u2019s return.<\/p>

\u201cIt\u2019s different \u2013 they\u2019re older and she\u2019s a widow who\u2019s grieving. She\u2019s quite vulnerable,\u201d Taylor explained. \u201cShe\u2019s not necessarily on her absolute peak, you know, and he\u2019s aware of that. We\u2019re finding our way with it after all these years.\u201d<\/p>\n

Taylor also confirmed she has worked with Hancock already, saying: \u201cWe\u2019ve spent a few days together and then we\u2019re back together next week. He\u2019s very happy he\u2019s back.\u201d<\/p>\n

Toyah is going through the wringer on Coronation Street at the moment, as she\u2019s the prime suspect in the investigation into Imran\u2019s death.<\/p>\n
