Abi’s been through the wringer… <\/p>
If there\u2019s one character in Soap Land who\u2019s had more than her fair share of drama and devastation, it\u2019s Abi Franklin (played by Sally Carman).<\/p>\n
The Coronation Street<\/a> favourite has truly been through it all, with the recent loss of her son, Seb Franklin (Harry Visinoni) causing more unimaginable pain, setting off a tirade of trauma for her.<\/p>\n However, according to Carman, poor Abi will have a reprieve over the coming weeks on the cobbles.<\/p>\n Speaking exclusively to RadioTimes.com<\/a> at the British Soap Awards 2022 about whether Abi would have some respite, Carman explained: \u201cI think so, I think that is coming. My scripts are quite minimal at the moment which means there might be a bit of peace and quiet.<\/p> \u201cWhat I\u2019ve done recently is quite happy stuff, so hopefully!\u201d<\/p>\n But will she get back with Kevin for a happy ever after? \u201cMaybe\u2026 yes. I\u2019d like that,\u201d teased Carman.<\/p>\n As we know too well, peace and quiet won\u2019t last long in soap land, so it\u2019s only a matter of time before Abi\u2019s plunged into another dramatic episode.<\/p>\n At the moment on the soap, she\u2019s wrapped up in a custody battle for her son with Imran (Charlie de Melo), Alfie.<\/p>\n Read more:<\/strong><\/p>\n Following Imran\u2019s untimely death, and the small matter of him lying to the courts about Abi\u2019s state of mind, it\u2019s not looking straightforward.<\/p>\n Will they be reunited?
