Carol Vorderman will make her Celebrity Gogglebox debut this Friday, joining the celebrity cast<\/a>\u00a0and featuring alongside fellow broadcaster Gyles Brandreth.<\/p>\n The hit Channel 4 format follows small groups of viewers \u2013 in this case, celebrity viewers \u2013 as they watch and comment on the week\u2019s television from the comfort of their own homes.<\/p>\n Vorderman, who rose to fame as a co-host on popular Channel 4 gameshow Countdown, will reunite with Brandreth, who regularly appeared on the same show\u2019s Dictionary Corner segment.<\/p>\n In an Instagram post<\/a>, the broadcaster promised that she and her longtime friend would be \u201ca bit vocal\u201d, with \u201cno holds barred\u201d during their commentary.<\/p>\n \u201cI\u2019m making my debut this Friday 9pm on one of my favourite shows of all time and joining the @c4gogglebox gang\u2026.with my friend of 40 years @gylesbrandreth,\u201d she announced.<\/p>\n \u201cWatch this week and let me know if you agree\u2026.we\u2019re a bit vocal \u2026.no holds barred.\u201d<\/p>\n Brandreth (a regular on Celebrity Gogglebox) revealed the news on his Twitter account, posting an image of himself and Vorderman enjoying a cup of tea on his sofa.<\/p>\n \u201cA hot night in my house \u2026 my friend \u2066<\/span>@carolvorders <\/span>has popped round to watch the box with me.
