A new bombshell\u00a0is entering the Love Island villa \u2013 and just like Gemma Owen<\/a>, she has a famous parent\u2026<\/p>\n Antigoni Buxton, whose mother is celebrity chef Tonia Buxton, is the latest islander to join the Love Island 2022 contestant<\/a>\u00a0line-up, and her arrival tonight<\/a>\u00a0(24th June)\u00a0is sure to turn heads following the recent shock dumping.<\/p>\n Singer-songwriter Antigoni, 26, has refused to reveal who she has her eye on so far \u2013 but she\u2019s clear about her turnoffs.<\/p>\n Asked about what gives her the \u2018ick\u2019, she revealed: \u201cSomeone who is stingy! It\u2019s not about money but I think being stingy is a character trait and it coincides with someone who is quite selfish with their time.\u201d<\/p>\n On why she signed up for Love Island, she said: \u201cI\u2019ve been single for almost a year and a half and for the whole of the last year my goal has been to have as many different experiences as possible.<\/p>\n \u201cI really just want to say \u2018yes\u2019 to things. Why not? It\u2019ll be fun. I\u2019m a Cypriot girl and I love being in the sun. I\u2019ve got nothing to lose!<\/p>\n She added: \u201cI think I\u2019m going to bring a positive energy [to the villa] \u2013 I\u2019m a very positive person.\u201d<\/p> Although she\u2019s stressed that she doesn\u2019t want to \u201ctread on anyone\u2019s toes,\u201d she says she\u2019ll \u201cexplore\u201d any connections she feels with fellow islanders.<\/p>\n \u201cIn life generally, I am quite competitive \u2013 I get really serious over Christmas Day Monopoly. It\u2019s not my intention to tread on anyone\u2019s toes but if I feel the energy from somebody and that connection then in a very open and honest way, I will explore that but I\u2019ll be transparent with everyone in the situation,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n New episodes of Love Island air at 9pm on ITV2 and ITV Hub every day except Saturday.
