Taskmaster\u2019s second Champion of Champions special<\/a> airs tonight, with previous winners Ed Gamble,\u00a0Kerry Godliman,\u00a0Liza Tarbuck,\u00a0Lou Sanders\u00a0and\u00a0Richard Herring battling it out to see who reigns supreme above all others.<\/p>\n

However, we all know that with Taskmaster<\/a> the win isn\u2019t everything \u2013 after all, the series is truly about the laughs. Therefore, we at RadioTimes.com<\/a> decided to host a competition<\/a> of our own, to determine once and for all which moment from across the seasons truly hit the nation\u2019s funnybone.<\/p>\n

With over 2,500 respondents to our exclusive poll, and the winner coming in with 19% of the total votes, the moment crowned king of them all was\u2026 James Acaster losing it with Rhod Gilbert.<\/p>\n

The pair clashed a number of times during season 7 \u2013 the most memorable being their hilariously heated exchange following the team task to build the best extension to the Taskmaster house.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s fair to say Acaster wasn\u2019t best pleased with Gilbert\u2019s unique approach to the task\u2026 you can relive the brilliant moment from 24:40-29:08 below:<\/p>\n\n<p>Of course, it wasn\u2019t the only time the pair\u2019s arguments came to a head.<\/p>\n<p>Another fan-favourite moment saw Acaster exasperated at Greg Davies\u2019 decision to consult the audience on a task, granting Gilbert the full five points despite some potential rule-bending.<\/p>\n<p>The footage, which was unseen in the cut originally aired on Dave but shared online, includes both contestants up and out of their chairs to argue their points, with Davies declaring the whole exchange a \u201crush\u201d when it finally came to an end.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\""twitter-tweet"\" data-dnt=\""true"\"><p lang=\""en"\" dir=\""ltr"\">It’s Acaster VS Gilbert in an argument that didn’t make it to air because, well, you’ll probably see why. <a href=\""https:\/\/twitter.com\/hashtag\/Taskmaster?src=hash&ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw"\">#Taskmaster<\/a> <a href=\""https:\/\/t.co\/j9MCHJgyhM"\">pic.twitter.com\/j9MCHJgyhM<\/a><\/p>\u2014 Dave (@davechannel) <a href=\""https:\/\/twitter.com\/davechannel\/status\/1057973033992765441?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw"\">November 1, 2018<\/a><\/blockquote><script async=\"\" src=\""https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js"\" charset=\""utf-8"\"\/><p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The moment beat out contenders including Aisling Bea, Sally Phillips and Bob Mortimer\u2019s song, Rosalind\u2019s a F**king Nightmare, with 15% of the vote, Joe Wilkinson\u2019s potato throw with 13% and Mike Wozniak\u2019s \u2018absolute casserole\u2019 which got 12%.<\/p>\n<p>The shortlist was compiled by the <strong>RadioTimes.com<\/strong> team, whittled down from a huge amount of memorable moments from across the first 12 seasons of the show, including both the original Dave years and the series\u2019 more recent episodes on Channel 4.<\/p> <p>This comes not only as the Champion of Champions special is about to air, but a week after the 13th season came to an end, which saw Sophie Duker beat out fellow <a href=\""https:\/\/www.radiotimes.com\/tv\/entertainment\/taskmaster-season-13-cast\/"\">contestants<\/a> Ardal O\u2019Hanlon, Bridget Christie, Chris Ramsey and Judi Love to be crowned the champion of the latest edition.<\/p>\n<div class=\""editor-content\" mb-lg=\"\" hidden-print=\"\" js-piano-locked-content=\"\">\n<p><strong>Taskmaster: Champion of Champions 2 airs on Channel 4 on Thursday 23rd June at 9pm. <\/strong><strong>If you\u2019re looking for something else to watch, check out our\u00a0<a href=\""https:\/\/www.radiotimes.com\/tv\/tv-listings\/"\" rel=\""noopener\" noreferrer=\"\">TV Guide<\/a>.
