Thor: Love and Thunder\u2019s UK release date is almost upon us, and if early reactions are anything to go by, it looks like fans are in for a treat.<\/p>\n

The film had its world premiere last night in the US (23rd June), with fans and critics getting a glimpse at Chris Hemsworth<\/a>\u2018s return as the Asgardian God of Thunder.<\/p>\n

Set to land in the UK on 8th July<\/a>, the film also sees the return of Natalie Portman<\/a> as Jane Foster for the first time in the MCU<\/a> since 2013\u2019s Thor: The Dark World \u2013 except this time she\u2019s now the Mighty Thor.<\/p>\n

Several critics posted their initial thoughts on Twitter after watching the movie, and many were effusive with praise for Portman.<\/p>\n

Natalie Portman’s performance in #ThorLoveAndThunder<\/a> is exceptional. Also, watching Dr. Jane Foster transform into this hero…it’s what I want for all women on my screen. I want that complexity.
