The most recent Bond film was last year\u2019s No Time to Die<\/a>, which saw Daniel Craig depart the role of secret agent 007 and also \u2013 spoiler alert! <\/strong>\u2013 killed off his version of the character, suggesting that the next film in the series would have to be a reboot.<\/p>\n Though Broccoli has insisted that \u201cnobody\u2019s in the running\u201d to replace Craig just yet, the rumour mill continues to suggest a flurry of names \u2013 earlier this year, Outlander star Sam Heughan<\/a> described himself as a \u201chuge fan\u201d of the character, adding that playing Bond would be \u201can incredible job\u201d, while late last year, Henry Cavill<\/a> said that it would be \u201cvery exciting to have a conversation\u201d with the 007 producers.<\/p>\n Last week, Moneypenny actress Naomie Harris backed Chiwetel Ejiofor<\/a> \u2013 her co-star in sci-fi TV series The Man Who Fell to Earth<\/a> \u2013 to take up the mantle.<\/p>\n In an earlier interview with RadioTimes.com<\/a>, Harris voiced her desire to return to the franchise<\/a> alongside a new actor playing Bond.<\/p>\n \u201cI would love to come back, because the franchise means so much to me.,\u201d she said. \u201cMost of the time as an actor, you\u2019re going from job to job and you form these intense bonds with people for three, four months, and then you never see them again, but this has been some form of continuity in my life for the last decade.<\/p>\n \u201cI\u2019ve loved it \u2013 it\u2019s felt like reuniting with the family every time I\u2019ve gone back to do a Bond movie, so I would hate to lose that in my life.
