In an upcoming appearance on The Talk<\/a>, as reported by Deadline<\/a>, Grammer confirmed that the team are \u201cin the final stages of the final script for the first episode of the Frasier<\/em> reboot and it looks pretty good\u201d.<\/p>\n The star added: \u201cI\u2019ve had a couple of runs through it, and I cried, so you know, I\u2019m happy.\u201d<\/p>\n A revival of Frasier, which was a spin-off of Cheers and originally ran from 1993 to 2004, was first rumoured to be in development as early as 2016, but was only confirmed in 2021, with Grammer saying at the time that he was \u201cgleefully\u201d anticipating \u201csharing the next chapter in the continuing journey of Dr Frasier Crane\u201d.<\/p>\n In his new interview with The Talk, Grammer also revealed that \u201cthere were some conversations\u201d about shooting the new series in October of this year, but that it may be \u201ca little later, I don\u2019t know\u201d.<\/p>\n He continued: \u201cThere are a couple of other things coming up. We\u2019ve developed a couple of other projects that look like they\u2019re going to shoot first.\u201d<\/p> Other than Grammer, no other cast members from the original series have so far been confirmed to appear in the reboot, with Dr Niles Crane star David Hyde Pierce remaining coy when speaking about the series in the past.<\/p>\n In an interview with The Guardian<\/a> in February, he said: \u201cIt\u2019s happening, but I don\u2019t know in what form, and I don\u2019t know when, so I don\u2019t know where I\u2019ll be and what I\u2019ll be doing.
