Comedians Joe Wilkinson and Katherine Ryan are set to front a brand new Channel 4 travel series, RadioTimes.com<\/a> can exclusively reveal.<\/p>\n Joe and Katherine\u2019s Bargain Holidays will see the duo embark on a \u201crelentless pursuit of bargainous getaways\u201d both in the UK and abroad.<\/p>\n Each of the six episodes will showcase a different type of cut-price holiday, including the ultimate couple\u2019s retreat, a girls\u2019 weekend, and a family seaside stay \u2013 all on a shoe-string budget.<\/p> In each episode, Joe and Katherine will visit undiscovered resorts and review the best value-for-money restaurants and activities in their chosen destination, as well as finding the best tips, tricks, and hacks to complete the ultimate bargain-packed itinerary.<\/p>\n \u201cIf pushed on it, I\u2019d have to say my three favourite words are: \u2018bargain\u2019, \u2018holiday\u2019 and \u2018voucher\u2019 (and \u2018large vacuumed packed portable food bags\u2026\u2019),\u201d said Wilkinson.<\/p>\n \u201cThis series gets under the skin of all three. We\u2019re going to uncover the biggest bargain holidays in the world and we\u2019re going to have some fun doing it! (And some tears, I well up at the drop of a hat).\u201d<\/p>\n Ryan added: \u201cThree of my favourite words are: \u2018cocktails\u2019, \u2018Maldives\u2019 and \u2018helicopter\u2019. This series is really going to test my friendship with Joe.\u201d<\/p>\n Meanwhile, Deborah Dunnett, commissioning editor for Channel 4, said of the new series: \u201cWho doesn\u2019t love to save money?
