RadioTimes.com<\/a> can exclusively reveal a clip from the new episode.<\/p>\nThe short preview shows an interaction between veteran GCHQ employee John Yeabsley (Mark Rylance) and genius 21-year-old hacker Saara Parvin (Hannah Khalique-Brown) as the latter attempts to track down a mathematician.<\/p>
The clip begins with Saara sitting across from the rather pedantic John in the GCHQ canteen and asking him why he\u2019s constantly correcting people\u2019s grammar.<\/p>\n
\u201cIf we wrote code as sloppily as we write English, it would never run,\u201d is his response. \u201cSome things have to be right.\u201d<\/p>\n
He then asks why she\u2019s only eating an apple for her lunch, to which she informs him that she\u2019s Muslim and they don\u2019t have any Halal options \u2013 before she asks him for help in finding a \u201cmathematician friend\u201d.<\/p>\n
\u201cHe isn\u2019t here,\u201d she says. \u201cCan you tell me where they work, the mathematicians? I\u2019m new here.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cI\u2019ll show you if you like, but I warn you they won\u2019t be very welcoming,\u201d he answers, before asking why she\u2019s laughing at his response.<\/p>\n
\u201cThey won\u2019t be very welcoming? No different to any other department here then,\u201d she says, but this only prompts him to return to his grammar pedantry.<\/p>\n
