Viewers are finally returning to Ackley Bridge<\/a>, with a fifth season on the horizon and kicking off this\u00a0July 2022<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Earlier this month,\u00a0RadioTimes.com<\/a>\u00a0exclusively revealed a brand new clip from the school drama, as\u00a0Ackley Bridge tackles sex education<\/a> in a hilarious season 5 first-look.<\/p>\n

The clip teases student counsellor Kaneez Paracha\u2019s rather unorthodox attitude to sex education, in addition to student Kayla\u2019s anxieties about her new\u00a0relationship with\u00a0Johnny.<\/p>\n

The season will also introduce brand new characters, while\u00a0Top Boy\u2019s Ashley Walters is making his directorial debut, helming five episodes as Reza Moradi (Teachers, Hetty Feather) directs the other five.<\/p>\n
