Succession<\/a> leads the charge for this year\u2019s Emmy Awards.<\/p>\n

The HBO drama, which has previously won nine Emmys, picked up 25 nominations including Outstanding Drama Series and Lead Actor for Brian Cox\u2019s role as media mogul Logan Roy.<\/p>\n

Succession was followed by HBO\u2019s dark comedy series The White Lotus<\/a>, which bagged 20 nominations, while HBO Max\u2019s second season of Hacks<\/a> was handed 17 nominations, and Apple\u2019s Ted Lasso<\/a> 20.<\/p>\n

Other series with double-digit nominations include Only Murders in the Building<\/a> (17), Euphoria<\/a> (16), Dopesick (14), Severance (14), Squid Game<\/a> (14), Ozark (13), Stranger Things<\/a> (13), The Marvellous Mrs. Maisel (12) and Pam and Tommy (10).<\/p>\n

Pam and Tommy\u2019s 10 nominations include\u00a0Leading Actor\/Actress nods for Sebastian Stan\u2019s portrayal of\u00a0Tommy Lee and Lily\u00a0James\u2019 role as Pamela Anderson.<\/p>\n

Jodie Comer is also up for Outstanding Actress in a Drama Series for her role as Villanelle in Killing Eve<\/a>. She\u2019s up against Killing Eve\u00a0co-star Sandra Oh for the award, as well as Euphoria actress Zendaya, Laura Linney and Reese Witherspoon.<\/p>\n

Elsewhere, Netflix\u2019s Korean hit Squid Game has made history as the first ever Drama Series nominee that isn\u2019t in the English language. It has 14 nominations overall.<\/p>\n

This year\u2019s awards celebrate the best TV shows that premiered or streamed between 1st June 2021 and 31st May 2022.<\/p>\n
