Nintendo has announced Kirby\u2019s Dream Buffet, complete with a release date window, giving fans of the adorable pink blob something tasty to look forward to.<\/p>\n

When is the Kirby\u2019s Dream Buffet release date?<\/strong><\/h2>\n

The Kirby\u2019s Dream Buffet release date will fall in\u00a0Summer 2022<\/strong>, Nintendo has promised.<\/p>\n

Going by our perception of summer, this implies that the game will be with us before the end of August. Perhaps it\u2019ll be dropped around about the time that Gamescom 2022<\/a> is going on?<\/p>\n

Can I pre-order Kirby\u2019s Dream Buffet?\u00a0<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Hold your horses. It\u2019s a bit too early to be doing that!<\/p>\n

Pre-orders have not yet begun for Kirby\u2019s Dream Buffet, but the game\u2019s official webpage is live now on the Nintendo website<\/a>\u2026 perhaps there isn\u2019t long to wait, then!<\/p>\n

Which consoles and platforms can play Kirby\u2019s Dream Buffet?<\/strong><\/h2>\n

It should come as zero surprise whatsoever that Kirby\u2019s Dream Buffet will be exclusively available on Nintendo Switch. It\u2019ll be available through the Nintendo eShop<\/a> only.<\/p>\n

Nintendo tends to keep its famous characters to itself, so we would never expect to see this game on PC, PlayStation or Xbox. Even a mobile release is very unlikely to ever happen.<\/p>

Kirby\u2019s Dream Buffet gameplay and story details<\/strong><\/h2>\n

As Nintendo said in the announcement of the game, the basic story setup for Kirby\u2019s Dream Buffet will feature \u201ca gang of Kirbys rolling through a smorgasbord of food-themed stages in four rounds of frantic multiplayer fun.\u201d<\/p>\n

In terms of the gameplay, Nintendo teased: \u201cPlayers will race each other through these delicious obstacle courses to collect strawberries as Kirby grows, bumping other players off the stage and using familiar Copy Abilities \u2013 or Copy Food Abilities, as they are called here \u2013 to thwart the competition.\u201d<\/p>\n

Kirby\u2019s Dream Buffet will feature local and online multiplayer as well as \u201ca variety of food-themed courses that even the pickiest of eaters will want to devour.\u201d<\/p>\n
