Rian Johnson has once again put together an incredible ensemble cast for the sequel, which will stream on Netflix, with Ethan Hawke, Edward Norton, Kathryn Hahn and Kate Hudson among the stars to fall under Blanc\u2019s suspicions.<\/p>
And another of the film\u2019s stars has now teased that fans will be delighted with the follow-up, claiming it strikes a very similar tone to the first film in spite of the change of cast and location.<\/p>\n
\u201cI\u2019m a fan of the first one and I think fans will be happy,\u201d Jessica Henwick told RadioTimes.com<\/a> during an exclusive interview.<\/p>\n \u201cDaniel was back and Benoit has his style and his flair that is very specific to this film series, and yeah, it\u2019s gonna hit all the same fun beats. It\u2019s such a ride.\u201d<\/p>\n The Matrix Resurrections actress added that she tried to solve the mystery herself when she was reading the script but ultimately found she was no match for Benoit Blanc.<\/p>\n \u201cThe script was a brick,\u201d she explained. \u201cWhen it came in, it\u2019s like\u2026 I don\u2019t even remember, it\u2019s very, very long. So I was turning the pages trying to figure it out.<\/p>\n \u201cBut I know Rian was so clever, I knew there was no way I was going to figure it out before he wanted me to.\u201d<\/p>\n Even if she couldn\u2019t quite solve the case herself, Henwick said that the filming experience was a thoroughly rewarding one, describing it as \u201csuch a blast\u201d and adding that it \u201cfelt like we were at summer camp\u201d.<\/p>\n \u201cWe spent a month together in Greece and then a month together in Serbia, the first month doing exteriors and the second one doing interiors,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n \u201cAnd we all lived down the road from each other, and we\u2019re in every scene together.
