<\/p>
There\u2019s trouble for Amelia Spencer (played by Daisy Campbell) in Emmerdale<\/a> after she seriously slipped up while babysitting.<\/p>\n She looked after baby Thomas for Gabby Thomas (Rosie Bentham), but wasn\u2019t feeling well over the week, which came to a head during her duties.<\/p>\n Feeling dizzy and nauseous, Gabby dropped the baby \u2013 and perhaps worse still, lied to Harriet Finch (Katherine Dow Blyton) about what happened.<\/p>\n \u201cI think she feels really guilty,\u201d explained Campbell exclusively to RadioTimes.com<\/a>. \u201cShe\u2019s got all the other stuff going on in the mind from feeling ill and dizzy, but I think she feels so guilty because she\u2019s never done anything like that before. That\u2019s not her, it\u2019s not in her to do that.<\/p>\n \u201cShe\u2019s feeling really bad about it because it\u2019s obviously not her sibling, it\u2019s not her child\u2026 it\u2019s not a good thing.\u201d<\/p> After being questioned by Kim Tate (Claire King) and others, broken Amelia finally confides in her dad Dan Spencer (Liam Fox) what\u2019s been going on \u2013 she\u2019s been taking a dodgy weight gain syrup.<\/p>\n According to Campbell, it\u2019s a life-changing moment for her as she opens up to her dad on her issues.<\/p>\n She explains: \u201cI think it\u2019s almost a relief for her in the end because she\u2019s kept it in and she\u2019s not told anyone and it\u2019s a lot to deal with, it\u2019s a massive struggle. It\u2019s a bit of a weight lifted off his shoulders when it all comes out. It\u2019s mainly a relief for her.\u201d<\/p>\n As for her relationship with Gabby, that\u2019s got a long way to go to get back to normal.<\/p>\n \u201cAt first, Gabby wants nothing to do with it, anyone would be weird if that happened to their child. She wants nothing to do with me, we\u2019re not really friends right now,\u201d she admitted.<\/p>\n Can they become friends? \u201cPossibly, yeah\u2026 I hope so.
