Speaking to RadioTimes.com<\/a> in an exclusive interview, the influencer \u2013 who won the ITV2 show\u2019s fifth series \u2013 gave her thoughts on the ongoing season and how she has disapproved of some of the boys\u2019 behaviour in the villa.<\/p>\n \u201cI try to be impartial because obviously I\u2019ve been on it before. But there\u2019s just a couple of things that I don\u2019t like and I can\u2019t help but just notice it.\u201d<\/p>\n She said: \u201cAnd then people are saying to me like, \u2018Oh, but you should know, it\u2019s edited.\u2019 And I\u2019m like, \u2018Yeah, but they can\u2019t physically edit you to be completely different from how you actually are. They\u2019re not like [a] magician. They can\u2019t force you to say something that never came out your mouth. You know what I mean?\u201d<\/p>\n She went on to say that while Dami Hope<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0Indiyah Polack<\/a> would have been her pick to win this year, she wasn\u2019t happy with how Dami treated Tasha Ghouri<\/a> during the Snog Marry Pie episode, which saw the microbiologist and Luca Bish<\/a> throw pies in Tasha\u2019s face during a game whilst saying that her and Andrew Le Page<\/a>\u2018s relationship wasn\u2019t genuine.<\/p>\n Speaking about Dami, Gill said: \u201cI don\u2019t like the way he speaks to Tasha and I know that other islanders have came out and said that, \u2018Oh, like it wasn\u2019t that bad,\u2019 but I know what I looked at and I didn\u2019t like what I saw.<\/p> \u201cEdited or not edited, from five minutes, I can see what I saw and I didn\u2019t like it, you know?\u201d she added.<\/p>\n Love Island\u2019s Snog Marry Pie episode resulted in Ofcom receiving over 1,500 complaints, while the charity Women\u2019s Aid recently confirmed that it was in talks with ITV<\/a> after viewers were concerned about \u201cmisogyny and controlling behaviour\u201d.<\/p>\n The show\u2019s upcoming final is set to take place on Monday 1st August, with host Laura Whitmore set to crown the 2022 Love Island winners.<\/p>\n Love Island 2022 continues tonight at 9pm on ITV2 and ITV Hub.
