RadioTimes.com<\/a> can exclusively reveal a first-look clip from the movie.<\/p>\nMackey stars as Gustave Eiffel\u2019s childhood sweetheart Adrienne Bourg\u00e8s, with the film exploring how the rekindling of their relationship inspired the title character to design his famous landmark.<\/p>
In the clip, we see Eiffel (played by Romain Duris)\u00a0ask Bourg\u00e8s to dance \u2013 during which they have a rather frank discussion.<\/p>\n
\u201cPeople are watching us,\u201d she warns him before they exchange a few pleasantries.<\/p>\n
Eventually, Eiffel attempts to arrange a meeting between him and Bourg\u00e8s for later in the evening, telling her: \u201cThere\u2019s an inn at Batignolles, Les Aracias. Meet me there.\u201d<\/p>\n
Bourg\u00e8s, however, quickly shoots him down.<\/p>\n
\u201cStop,\u201d she says. \u201cI have a life, I have a husband. It\u2019s in the past, Gustave.\u201d<\/p>\n
