Channel 4 drama<\/a>, began when Rooney alleged in an Instagram post back in 2019 that Vardy\u2019s account had been leaking stories about her to the press. Rooney\u2019s impressive detective skills, and her \u201cIt\u2019s\u2026 Rebekah Vardy\u2019s account\u201d delivery soon went viral, with Vardy suing for defamation shortly after.<\/p> Vardy\u2019s agent and close friend Caroline Watt was also implicated in the case, after Vardy suggested she was the one selling the stories to the press. Watt did not give evidence during the hearing.<\/p>\n
Vardy, who continues to maintain her innocence, confirmed she has been in touch with Watt during her TalkTV interview, telling Kate McCann that she had \u201cspoken to her a couple of times\u201d.<\/p>\n
When asked whether Watt feels bad about her involvement, Vardy said: \u201cIt is not a conversation that we\u2019ve had. It\u2019s not a conversation that I\u2019d want to talk about with her just purely because of I\u2019m so conscious of her mental wellbeing and you know, how, how it\u2019s affected her as well.\u201d<\/p>
