He has previously won an RTS award for his presenting and carried the Queen\u2019s baton as part of this year\u2019s Commonwealth Games in Birmingham.<\/p>\n On joining the Strictly line-up this year, Anderson said: \u201cThis is a dream come true! I cannot wait to get in those sparkles and sequins and shimmy across the most famous dance floor in the world! Strictly is the ultimate feel good show, as soon as I hear that iconic theme tune it\u2019s just pure escapism.<\/p>\n \u201cI\u2019m going to have to cancel my legendary Strictly launch night kitchen party that I throw every year, I\u2019m sure my friends and family will understand. It\u2019s also a massive honour to be part of an all-male dance partnership, it\u2019s so important we have that inclusion on such a huge show.\u201d<\/p>\n An official air date for Strictly Come Dancing this year hasn\u2019t been confirmed just yet, but based on previous years we\u2019d guess that the show would return in mid-September.
