Rosario Dawson has cited \u201ciffy intel\u201d for her premature announcement that The Punisher<\/a> is \u201chappening again\u201d while attending the\u00a0Chicago Comic & Entertainment Expo (C2E2).<\/p>\n

The Marvel star has played Claire Temple in many of the Netflix<\/a> Marvel shows, including Daredevil, Luke Cage and The Defenders \u2013\u00a0but not The Punisher, which she said would like to change by joining the new series.<\/p>\n

Speaking at the event over the weekend, the actress said on stage: \u201cI found out yesterday that The Punisher was happening again, so I feel like this is my only chance, this is one of the only shows I haven\u2019t been in, and I love Jon Bernthal,\u201d Dawson told the audience.\u00a0\u201cSo let\u2019s all make it happen collectively guys.\u201d<\/p>\n
