Speaking with RadioTimes.com<\/a> and other press about his upcoming ITV drama Ridley<\/a>, Dunbar was asked whether he thinks season 6 was the last we will see of Ted and AC12, to which he said: \u201cMy thinking is that, no, it\u2019s not the last you might see of us.\u201d<\/p>\n Dunbar continued: \u201cI know that there are people who are talking and some plans, but I don\u2019t know exactly what would happen. I don\u2019t know what shape it might take. There was talk of a film, there was talk about maybe two 90 minutes, there was talk about three one hours, I don\u2019t know.\u201d<\/p>\n Dunbar also said he has \u201cno idea\u201d what the storyline might be, before going on to give his assessment that the past would have to play into it somehow.<\/p>\n He said: \u201cI\u2019m sure it won\u2019t be something new. It would have to be something maybe from past episodes, that kind of rears its ugly head again. So there\u2019s all kinds of talk going on, and we\u2019re waiting to see if somebody gives us a green light and says yeah, it\u2019s actually going to happen.\u201d<\/p> In the meantime, Dunbar\u2019s new drama Ridley sees him play a retired detective who reunites with his former prot\u00e9g\u00e9e, played by Bronagh Waugh, to solve crimes.<\/p>\n Ridley will air on ITV soon and Line of Duty seasons 1-6 are available on BBC iPlayer<\/a>. <\/strong>If you\u2019re looking for more to watch, check out our\u00a0TV Guide<\/a>.
