Ellie was revealed to be part of the Strictly 2022 line-up<\/a> on ITV\u2019s Lorraine and becomes the ninth famous face to agree to take to the dance floor on the BBC show, joining previously announced contestants\u00a0Will Mellor<\/a>, Kym Marsh<\/a>, Kaye Adams<\/a>, Richie Anderson<\/a>, Jayde Adams<\/a>, Ellie Simmonds<\/a>, Tyler West<\/a> and Matt Goss<\/a>.<\/p>\n Appearing on Tuesday\u2019s instalment (9th August) of Lorraine, Ellie told host Ranvir Singh: \u201cI\u2019ve known for such a long time. I can\u2019t wait to tell all my friends, I\u2019m going to get so many voice notes of squealing women.<\/p>\n \u201cI\u2019ve wanted to do it forever. I\u2019m so chuffed \u2013 I can\u2019t wait. I would love to find the joy in dance that people have,\u201d she added.<\/p>\n Talking about her ideal dancing partner, she said: \u201cI want someone who\u2019s patient. I\u2019m absolutely over the moon to be a part of Strictly 2022!\u201d<\/p>\n She added: \u201cI\u2019ve watched the show for years so to be able to take to the dance floor is a dream come true, for both me and mum who is a Strictly super fan! At the moment I\u2019m focusing on the excitement and glitter and choosing to ignore the fact that I have the dancing ability of a newly born giraffe.
