For fans of Bean, whose roles have included Ned Stark in Game of Thrones<\/a> and Joseph Wilford in Snowpiercer<\/a>, they may be expecting some high drama or serious twists from the new show \u2013\u00a0however, Bean has suggested they should realign their expectations.<\/p>\n Speaking about the series, Bean said that Marriage was a show where \u201cpeople will be able to see many things that they can relate to in their own lives and their own relationships\u201d, while stressing that \u201cthere aren\u2019t any big stunts or reveals, it\u2019s just a very simple story; simply told, about people and the complications of daily life\u201d.<\/p>\n The series comes from writer Stefan Golaszewski, and fans of his other series Mum and Him & Her will likely recognise the creator\u2019s naturalistic style in what Bean describes.<\/p>\n Bean also went on to note that the series \u201conly takes place over 12 days or so\u201d and that \u201cit\u2019s an extract of that time\u201d in his character Ian and Walker\u2019s character Emma\u2019s lives.<\/p>\n He continued: \u201cHowever, what is in those days is rich, revealing and you see what a relationship is\u2026 what a marriage is. Their doubts, fears, joy, happiness and heartbreak that go into everyday living.\u201d<\/p> The official synopsis for the series says that we follow Ian and Emma as \u201cthe\u00a0drama explores the risks and the gifts of a long-term intimate relationship.
