The documentary talks to many people involved in the case, from the police officers who doubted Anthony\u2019s story to Anthony\u2019s relatives who claimed he was abused by his father for years prior to the killing \u2013 but what did his family think of I Just Killed My Dad?<\/p>\n
The Netflix<\/a> show\u2019s director Skye Borman has revealed what they had to say after I Just Killed My Dad was released to the public, stating that the feed back has been \u201cpositive\u201d.<\/p>\n Speaking to RadioTimes.com<\/a> in an exclusive interview, Borgman said: \u201cI\u2019ve been getting some emails today from various different folks and so far, I mean, they\u2019re liking it.\u201d<\/p>\n She added:\u00a0\u201cThe few people who\u2019ve reached out to me, they feel that it\u2019s a pretty accurate representation of what happened and of how things kind of went down.<\/p>\n \u201cSo overwhelmingly, it\u2019s been positive from their family and from the other participants.\u201d<\/p> Directed by Girl in the Picture<\/a>\u2018s Skye Borgman, the docuseries explores Anthony Templet\u2019s account of his father\u2019s killing whilst also looking into claims that Burt was a physically and mentally abusive father, who prevented Anthony from attending school.<\/p>\n Templet is interviewed for the documentary, with Borgman recently explaining why he decided to appear<\/a> as a talking head.<\/p>\n I Just Killed My Dad arrived on Netflix on Tuesday 9th August.
