We asked Doctor Who<\/a> fans on Twitter<\/a> who their favourite companion from the show\u2019s revival era was.<\/p>\n

Many names were thrown into the ring and now, we\u2019re on a mission to crown a winner.<\/p>\n

We\u2019ve shortlisted the revival companions who fans chose and added them to a poll below. It\u2019s now up to you to decide which one is the best.<\/p>\n

For this poll, we\u2019re only including companions from the revival era. That is, characters who appeared alongside the Doctor from 2005, when Christopher Eccleston regenerated as Nine, up to the latest season.<\/p>\n

And there are plenty of companions to choose from! Freema Agyeman\u2019s Martha Jones, Jenna Coleman\u2019s Clara Oswald and Pearl Mackie\u2019s Bill Potts are all on the list. They\u2019re joined by the likes of Donna Noble (Catherine Tate), who is set to make a Doctor Who return alongside David Tennant<\/a> in 2023, and River Song (Alex Kingston).<\/p>

Fans can also vote for Billie Piper\u2019s Rose Tyler, a character who is very much in viewers\u2019 thoughts given the casting of Heartstopper actress Yasmin Finney<\/a>, who is confirmed to be playing a \u201cnew Rose\u201d<\/a>.<\/p>\n

And of course, you have Thirteen\u2019s trusty current team, too \u2013 Yasmin Khan, played by Mandip Gill, who will be making a tearful exit<\/a> from the show this autumn, and John Bishop\u2019s Dan Lewis.<\/p>\n
