August TV may be dominated by the likes of the Olympics 2021<\/a> and Love Island<\/a>, but there\u2019s plenty new coming to Netflix<\/a> for an escape from all the sport and sun-soaked singletons.<\/p>\n

From Jason Momoa revenge thriller Sweet Girl<\/a> to the slightly more light-hearted The Kissing Booth 3<\/a>, it\u2019s once again a strong month for Netflix Originals \u2013 with the streaming service also boasting Sandra Oh university comedy-drama The Chair<\/a> and political thriller Beckett.<\/p>\n

However, there\u2019s plenty of past critical hits coming to the streamer also, \u2013 with Downton Abbey 2<\/a> soon coming to cinemas subscribers can now catch up on all six series of the prestigious ITV drama, while beloved adaptation Paddington and zany sequel The Lego Movie: Part 2 can keep the children (and adults!) entertained over the summer holidays.<\/p>\n

Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street<\/a> (2007)<\/strong> \u2013 Johnny Depp and Helena Bonham-Carter partner with Tim Burton once again for this adaptation of the slasher musical.<\/p>\n

Time and Tide (2000)<\/strong> \u2013 Hong Kong action film following an uneasy alliance between a mercenary and a bodyguard.<\/p>\n

Wild Oats (2016)<\/strong> \u2013 Comedy starring Shirley MacLaine as a woman who is mistakenly given millions in a life insurance cheque.<\/p>\n

World Trade Center<\/a> (2006)<\/strong> \u2013 Oliver Stone docudrama starring Nicolas Cage based on the experiences of police officers during the September 11th attacks.<\/p>\n

Young Guns II (1990)<\/strong> \u2013 Western sequel starring Kiefer Sutherland and Emilio Estevez documenting the later years of Billy the Kid.<\/p>\n
