Speaking to Deadline\u2019s 20 Questions podcast<\/a>, the Emmy-nominated star \u2013 who plays Roman Roy \u2013 spoke about his favourite thing about the project, revealing it to be his co-stars.<\/p>\n \u201cI was talking to Matthew Macfadyen today about would we want another season and what if it ended and would that be ok?<\/p>\n \u201cAnd he said, \u2018I simply wouldn\u2019t want it to end just because I love working with all these people,\u2019 and I just have to agree with that.\u201d<\/p>\n He added: \u201cIt\u2019s just a one of a kind job and I\u2019m terrified of getting involved in an actual, some other kind of job that I\u2019m going to want to pour my heart into it the way I do with this and the way that everybody does.\u201d<\/p>\n He added that the show is \u201cvery different from anything\u201d he\u2019s every worked on before.<\/p>\n \u201cIt\u2019s all hands on deck and it\u2019s everybody helping the other\u2026we all take this work very seriously and we work very hard and it makes it, it just makes it great.\u201d<\/p> The HBO drama was renewed for a fourth season last October and while the channel is yet to announce whether the upcoming series will be its last, the show\u2019s producers have hinted that may be the case.<\/p>\n Executive producer Georgia Pritchett said last summer that \u201cthe maximum would be five seasons\u201d for Succession, \u201cbut possibly more like four\u201d, while Brian Cox \u2013 who plays Logan Roy on the show \u2013 said last October that he thinks there are \u201cpossibly two more series\u2026then I think we\u2019re done\u201d.<\/p>\n Created by Peep Show\u2019s Jesse Armstrong, the show aired its third season last year and is up for 25 Primetime Emmy nominations this year<\/a>, including Outstanding Drama Series.<\/p>\n Succession is available to stream on NOW<\/a>.
