RadioTimes.com<\/a>, District 9 star Copley recalls how a miscommunication meant a number of the cast and crew ended up spending time hiding in their trailers.<\/p> \u201cYou know how these miscommunications can happen very quickly,\u201d he says. \u201cSo the lion is on a separate unit \u2013 they\u2019re shooting it as a reference, the animation unit is shooting it to see how fur moves and getting the lion in different positions, doing all sorts of crazy stuff.<\/p>\n
\u201cAnyway, I come out of my trailer, I\u2019m literally walking out and I just hear somebody going like \u2018Get the f**k back inside\u2019. And instinctively I close the door, I think like is there a riot? Is there something \u2013\u00a0we\u2019re in the middle of nowhere \u2013\u00a0like what\u2019s happening? And the guy\u2019s like \u2018There\u2019s a lion in base camp!\u2019<\/p>\n
\u201cBase camp is where all the trailers are,\u201d Copley continues. \u201cWe\u2019re like 20 minutes from set by car because we\u2019re shooting in the middle of nowhere and then for about an hour and a half, we thought that there was a lion walking around our trailers, and everyone\u2019s trying to look for where is the lion.<\/p>\n
\u201cAnd every now and then somebody comes back from set to the base camp and would walk in and wouldn\u2019t know. And people would go, like, \u2018Get in a trailer!\u2019 And then they\u2019d sort of look at us, like, what are you doing? And we\u2019d be like \u2018There\u2019s a lion!\u2019 And then they\u2019d run\u2026 it was crazy.\u201d<\/p>\n
