There\u2019s much to look forward to for Doctor Who<\/a> fans in the coming years.<\/p>\n Ncuti Gatwa<\/a> is set to take over the sonic screwdriver from Jodie Whittaker, but first, David Tennant and Catherine Tate will return<\/a> as the Tenth Doctor and companion Donna Noble.<\/p>\n A new Rose<\/a> has also been confirmed, to be played by Heartstopper<\/a>\u2018s Yasmin Finney. It\u2019s unclear at this stage who her character might be \u2013 and if indeed she is a version of Billie Piper\u2019s Rose.<\/p>\n And now, it seems like we could be on the cusp of another exciting announcement, this time involving a possible companion for Gatwa\u2019s Doctor \u2013 Strictly winner Rose Ayling-Ellis.<\/p> The actress recently quit EastEnders<\/a> after two years of playing Frankie Lewis. That on its own doesn\u2019t immediately scream Doctor Who, but the actor did also start following Gatwa, showrunner Russell T Davies and casting director Andy Pryor on Instagram<\/a> shortly after.<\/p>\n She also rather ominously told The Mirror<\/a>:\u00a0\u201cYou will find out more at the end of this month.
