<\/p>
Ricky Butcher (played by Sid Owen) is on his way back to EastEnders<\/a> after an absence of over a decade.<\/p>\n The iconic Walford character is coming back for a stint later this year, and will be sure to cause a bit of trouble.<\/p>\n Speaking about his return to the soap, Owen said: \u201cI\u2019m delighted to back at EastEnders. I can\u2019t wait to see what Ricky Butcher has been up to these past few years and how he\u2019s going to react to seeing some familiar faces including old flames. I\u2019m excited to see the drama unfold.\u201d<\/p>\n Executive Producer, Chris Clenshaw, added: \u201cIt is a great pleasure to welcome Sid back to the role of Ricky Butcher. Sid helped to create such an iconic character in Ricky who became so synonymous with the show and we couldn\u2019t be more excited to have him back for a while.
