He might look charismatic on the outside, but the BBC soap promises he\u2019s \u201cice-cold, manipulative, and driven by a need for power and respect\u201d, meaning he\u2019s a dangerous character to be on the wrong side of.<\/p>\n
What\u2019s more, he wants to rekindle his marriage to Suki (Balvinder Sopal) and reclaim his position as the head of the family.<\/p>\n

Chowdhry, best known for his role as Kurt in Teachers<\/a>, is currently filming and is expected to make his on-screen debut in the autumn.<\/p>\n Speaking about joining the soap, Chowdhry said: \u201cIt\u2019s been great \u2013 everyone has been lovely. My role at the moment has been focused around the Panesar family, but everyone has been extremely welcoming. I\u2019ve never worked on a show like EastEnders, so it\u2019s been a new experience for me; but I loved the storylines and I\u2019ve got a keen interest in this family because there\u2019s so much happening at all times!<\/p>\n \u201cNish is an interesting character \u2013 slightly unconventional, and with that brings drama, and mayhem.
