We saw Scissors<\/a>, Candlestick<\/a>, Pillar and Post<\/a>, Prawn Cocktail<\/a>, Odd Socks<\/a> and Astronaut<\/a> perform for the first time, but it was also Astronaut\u2019s final performance on the show after they landed in the bottom two, before being unmasked.<\/p>\n Who was the mystery individual?<\/p>\n Read on for everything you need to know about which creatures have left The Masked Dancer and their real identities.<\/p>\n The ITV show took us all by surprise when Desperate Housewives star Jesse Metcalfe was revealed to be Astronaut.<\/p>\n The US actor is best known for playing John Rowland on the comedy drama before starring in John Tucker Must Die, Dallas, Smallville and Chesapeake Shores.<\/p>\n \u201cI thought it would be fun because dance is something that really intimidates me so it\u2019s a fear that I wanted to face,\u201d he said on taking part.<\/p>\n \u201cThis has been unbelievable, it\u2019s one of the most zany things I\u2019ve ever done in my career. I\u2019ve thoroughly enjoyed myself.\u201d<\/p>\n As for the clues dropped during Astronaut\u2019s VT, the Solis on his monitor was a reference to Gabby Solis, his character\u2019s love interest on Desperate Housewives, played by Eva Longoria, while the \u201ccow jumped over the moon\u201d was a reference to the calf in Metcalfe.<\/p>\n Astronaut also said it wasn\u2019t the first time he\u2019s had a \u201cmark\u201d on his head, referring to his role in John Tucker Must Die.<\/p> The Masked Dancer is airing on ITV this autumn.
