The mysterious drama stars Tennant as a vicar, whose life begins to intertwine with that of a prisoner on death row, played by Stanley Tucci, and a maths teacher trapped in a cellar.<\/p>\n
Speaking to RadioTimes.com<\/a> at the opening of Riverside Studios play Horse-Play, the Doctor Who star revealed that the four-parter feels like a Moffat title.<\/p>\n \u201cI don\u2019t know what I\u2019m allowed to tell you,\u201d he said. \u201cIt\u2019s very hard to describe \u2013 I know that much. It\u2019s not really like anything else I\u2019ve seen, and yet it\u2019s very recognisably Steven [Moffat].<\/p>\n \u201cBut \u2013 it\u2019s really hard to describe! There are all these very disparate elements that he brings together in his usual brilliant, entirely unexpected way.\u201d<\/p> Inside Man is also set to feature It\u2019s A Sin breakout Lydia West alongside Dracula\u2019s Dolly Wells, Hanna\u2019s Lyndsey Marshal, Maigret\u2019s Tilly Vosburgh, Midnight Mass star Louis Oliver and Cursed\u2019s Mark Quarterly.<\/p>\n The BBC announced the drama last year, sharing first-look images of Tennant and Tucci<\/a> in character as a vicar and a prisoner respectively.<\/p>\n While a release date for Inside Man has not yet been confirmed by the BBC, it isn\u2019t the only project reuniting Moffat with former Doctor Who stars, as Peter Capaldi is set to star in Amazon Prime Video\u2019s The Devil\u2019s Hour<\/a>, where Moffat serves as an executive producer.<\/p>\n Teasing the show to RadioTimes.com earlier this year<\/a>, Moffat said: \u201cIt\u2019s a really hard one to define and we asked all the actors to define it.<\/p>\n \u201cAnd Peter Capaldi being a genius said, \u2018Listen to your nightmares.\u2019 So that\u2019s the best I can tell you.\u201d<\/p>\n Horse-Play is currently running from 7th until 24th September at Riverside Studios \u2013 tickets are on sale now<\/a>.<\/strong><\/p>\n Inside Man is coming to BBC One and BBC iPlayer in the near future.
