Lucifer bosses opened up about season 6 while Tom Ellis teased new mysteries to come. <\/p>
It\u2019s been an exciting month for Lucifer<\/a> fans. Not only did Netflix reveal a release date for its final \u2013 this time for real \u2013 season (10th September), it also dropped a teaser with a glimpse of what\u2019s to come for Tom Ellis\u2019s fallen angel after that Lucifer season 5 part 2 ending<\/a>.<\/p>\n Though specific plot details are being kept tightly under wraps, co-showrunners Joe Henderson and Ildy Modrovich, and Ellis himself, did hint at what might happen in the fantasy drama\u2019s sixth series during a Comic Con @ Home panel.<\/p>\n When asked whether Lucifer would be solving crimes despite his promotion to celestial ruler, Ellis said: \u201cI think it\u2019s in his DNA now. He\u2019s got quite a few mysteries to solve, to be honest, in season six.\u201d<\/p>\n He added: \u201cI think he grew up a lot. And he\u2019s still in the process of growing up. But I think it\u2019s that classic thing of \u2018be careful what you wish for\u2019. Because he did convince himself about a lot of things in season five, but when something that you think about actually happens, it often feels very different. So that\u2019s the kind of conundrum that Lucifer finds himself in season six.\u201d<\/p>\n\n Henderson and Modrovich remained tight-lipped when asked whether Lucifer will have all of God\u2019s powers.<\/p>\n \u201cI think that will be one of the first questions that our characters will be asking when we start season six,\u201d Henderson said.<\/p> \u201cGood thing to explore,\u201d Modrovich added.<\/p>\n \u201cThis is the last year that we have secrets,\u201d Henderson explained. \u201cThis is the last year we can surprise people.\u201d Modrovich agreed, adding, \u201cI can\u2019t believe some things have not gotten out.
