The Goonies and Indiana Jones and The Temple of Doom star Ke Huy Quan is having quite the year.<\/p>\n

First, he played a major role in the hit film Everything Everywhere All At Once<\/a>, and now it\u2019s been announced that he\u2019s joining the MCU to play an unspecified character in Loki season two<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The news was announced at the D23 Expo on Saturday 10th September, with Quan himself taking to the stage and joking: \u201cI\u2019m very confused: Is this not the Indiana Jones panel?\u201d<\/p>

Quan only returned to acting relatively recently, having spent much of the last two decades working in film production following his early success as a child actor \u2013 and this will be the most high-profile role since his return.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, star Tom Hiddleston promised that \u201cseason 2 picks up where season 1 left off \u2013 Loki is back in the TVA and Mobius don\u2019t seem to know who he is.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s a little bit like that Talking Heads song,\u201d added Mobius actor Owen Wilson. \u201cAnd in season two we\u2019re going to answer, \u2018How did I get here?\u201d<\/p>\n

Production on the second season began in London in June, and it is expected to launch on Disney Plus next summer \u2013 although no exact date has been given at this stage.<\/p>\n

In August, RadioTimes.com<\/a> spoke to Wilson about the second season<\/a> \u2013 and although he confirmed that filming was underway at Pinewood Studios, he wasn\u2019t able to give too much away beyond that.<\/p>\n

\u201cAbout Kang, I\u2019m not quite sure how he\u2019s going to figure into this one,\u201d he said when pressed for details about whether\u00a0Jonathan Majors\u2019 Kang the Conquerer might make another appearance.<\/p>\n

\u201cAnd Marvel is also so secretive, so even if I did know I wouldn\u2019t be able to say anything!\u201d<\/p>\n
