The ceremony was hosted by Kenan Thompson and going into the night, HBO\u2019s Succession<\/a> was the biggest contender with a whopping 25 nominations for the comedy drama\u2019s third season. It took home the coveted Outstanding Drama Series award, with Matthew Macfadyen winning the Supporting Actor category.<\/p>\n Meanwhile,\u00a0Ted Lasso<\/a>, The White Lotus<\/a> and Hacks<\/a> all came into the night looking for a big sweep, as did Only Murders in the Building<\/a>, Euphoria<\/a> and Dopesick<\/a>, all of which had over 10 nominations to their name. The White Lotus won five awards, including Supporting Actress in a Limited Series for Jennifer Coolidge, whose speech was unsurprisingly hilarious.<\/p>\n Severance<\/a>, Squid Game<\/a>, Ozark<\/a>, Stranger Things<\/a>, The Marvelous Mrs Maisel<\/a> and Pam and Tommy<\/a> all similarly had double digit nominations, meaning there were plenty of contenders to take home a stack of trophies.<\/p>\n Zendaya won Lead Actress in a Drama series for her role as Rue in Euphoria, while Lee Jung-jae took home the Lead Actor in a Drama series award for Squid Game.<\/p>\n Meanwhile, when it comes to comedy, Ted Lasso scored some big wins, taking home Outstanding Comedy Series, Lead Actor and Supporting Actor.<\/p>\n Other winners included Sheryl Lee Ralph, who won Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series for her role in Abbott Elementary, and Amanda Syefried, who came out on top of the Lead Actress in a Limited Series or Movie category.<\/p>\n Meanwhile, in the reality and variety categories,
