A familiar face could be returning to EastEnders<\/a> in the future, as Maisie Smith \u2013 who played Tiffany Butcher on the soap on and off since 2008 \u2013 has revealed she could come back to Walford, despite leaving in 2021 to focus on other projects.<\/p>\n

During a chat with Inside Soap<\/a>, she said: \u201cThe moment I left they said to me \u2018We\u2019re so excited to see what you\u2019re going to do, but you\u2019re always welcome to come back and reunite the family\u2019 \u2013 and I said, \u2018Absolutely!\u2019<\/p>\n

\u201cI said if they ever need me, just call me. I have so much family there with cast and the crew, I don\u2019t think anyone ever really leaves. That\u2019s what is nice about EastEnders. You always have a place there.\u201d<\/p>\n

Last time viewers saw Tiff, she had returned to Albert Square to support ex-husband Keegan (Zack Morris). The pair finally got a happy ending with they left for Germany together.<\/p>\n

But happy endings are not a guarantee on the soap, so it wouldn\u2019t be too surprising to see Tiff back in Albert Square.<\/p>\n

Since leaving the soap, Smith has taken part in Strictly Come Dancing<\/a>, reaching her season\u2019s final, and more recently put her fitness skills to test in Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins<\/a>.<\/p>

Fellow former EastEnders star Nina Wadia recently teased her own potential comeback as Zainab Masood<\/a>, stating: \u201cNever say never.\u201d<\/p>\n
