Charlotte Ritchie has teased details about her upcoming role in You<\/a> season 4, which will see her cross paths with Penn Badgley\u2019s unhinged stalker Joe Goldberg.<\/p>\n The popular actor, known for Grantchester<\/a> and Feel Good<\/a> among other projects, was announced for the cast of the Netflix<\/a> thriller earlier this year as the show\u2019s setting shifts from California to London, UK.<\/p>\n Ritchie will play Kate in the next set of episodes, an art gallery director well versed in managing difficult people, who feels an instant distrust towards Joe when he begins circling one of her friends.<\/p>\n It\u2019s fair to say that the friendly soul Ritchie currently plays on BBC One sitcom Ghosts<\/a> couldn\u2019t be further from her character in You, who she described as \u201cicy\u201d in an exclusive interview with RadioTimes.com<\/a>.<\/p>\n \u201cI haven\u2019t found something as challenging for a really long time,\u201d began Ritchie, speaking of her performance in You. \u201cActually, I always find it difficult\u2026 it\u2019s a boring refrain that the people close to me have to hear me say \u2013 I never quite feel like I can do it.<\/p> \u201cBut particularly this one, because the character is and because the show is very glossy, and often everyone looks really good and well-dressed\u2026 all of this emphasis on that stuff.\u201d<\/p>\n Ritchie continued: \u201cAnd my character is very well turned out and very icy, at least at the beginning\u2026 it\u2019s just not like me, that character.
