Anyone expecting a quick reconciliation between Kat Slater (Jessie Wallace) and Alfie Moon (Shane Richie) will have another thing coming.<\/p>\n

The course of true love never did run smooth, and Alfie knows he\u2019ll have to work hard on EastEnders<\/a> to win back the love of his life, who\u2019s currently engaged to Phil Mitchell (Steve McFadden).<\/p>\n

In a bid to impress Kat, Alfie drops by with a room full of flowers \u2013 what more could a girl want?<\/p>

While Kat\u2019s initially very shocked \u2013 and admittedly pleased \u2013 her excitement is short-lived when she finds out where the flowers really came from\u2026<\/p>\n

With the pair getting further and further apart by the day, is it really over between Kat and Alfie?<\/p>\n

Elsewhere this week, it\u2019s been a tumultuous week for the Slater family following the arrival of Freddie Slater<\/a> (Bobby Brazier<\/a>).<\/p>\n

Freddie tries to bond with the man he thinks is his father, Billy Mitchell (Perry Fenwick) \u2013 and to be fair, they have got on well.<\/p>\n

However, in Wednesday\u2019s episode, Freddie\u2019s world came crashing down around him when he found out Billy wasn\u2019t his biological dad after all.<\/p>\n

What will Freddie do now he knows the truth?<\/p>\n
