The Oscar winner, who stars in David O. Russell\u2019s latest film Amsterdam, has revealed that it would be \u201ca delight\u201d to join the Star Wars universe, with hopes to be the Stormtrooper from Star Wars: A New Hope who smacks his head on the top of a door frame<\/a>.<\/p>\n \u201cAll I ever wanted in\u00a0Star\u00a0Wars\u00a0was to be in a\u00a0Star\u00a0Wars outfit and hit my head on a door or something as I walked through,\u201d he told The Hollywood Reporter<\/a>.<\/p>\n \u201cThe real nerds who watched\u00a0Star\u00a0Wars\u00a0way too many times always knew about that one scene where the Stormtrooper hits his head on the door as he comes through. I wanted to be\u00a0that<\/em> guy. That was it.\u201d<\/p>\n He added that if he was \u201cfortunate enough to be more than that\u201d, then he would jump at the chance of appearing in the sci-fi franchise.,<\/p>\n \u201cWhat a delight that would be. I\u2019ve still got the figures from when I was little. I also know Kathy Kennedy very well because she was working with Spielberg when I did\u00a0Empire of the Sun, and now, she runs the\u00a0Star Wars universe.\u201d<\/p> Since A New Hope premiered back in 1977, there have been 12 Star Wars films released, including Star Wars: The Clone Wars, Solo: A Star Wars Story and Rogue One: A Star Wars Story.<\/p>\n While currently airing on Disney+ is Andor<\/a> \u2013 the prequel to Rogue One starring Diego Luna as Cassian Andor before he became the Rebel we know and love.<\/p>\n \u00a0Sign up to Disney Plus for \u00a37.99 a month or \u00a379.90 for a year<\/a>.
